AMITIE CODE is a project started on May 1st, 2015 and that will end on January 28th ,2018. It aims at raising public awareness on migration, development, human rights and at training properly on these issues the key-actors, such as teachers and officials of local authorities.

PARTNERS INVOLVED: Municipality of Bologna (IT) – Emilia Romagna Regional Government (IT), Municipality of Reggio Emilia (IT), FAMSI (ES), Câmara Municipal de Loures (PT), Mairie de Toulouse (FR), Rīgas Domes (LV), Alma Mater Studiorum Università degli Studi di Bologna (IT), CEI-IUL (PT), Fundaciòn Sevilla Acoge (ES), GVC (IT), Hamburger Volkshochschule (DE), Latvijas cilvēktisību Centrs (LV), European Coalition of Cities against Racism, CITTALIA (IT).
The project, funded by the European Commission, involves 6 European countries, 2 regions and 8 cities with the objective of educating these communities on the development by involving young people in the promotion of human rights and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles. The effectiveness of action is guaranteed by the variety of partners’ experience on international cooperation that will propose actions to raise awareness on migration, development and human rights. Training activities for teachers and officials of local authorities will also be proposed. The students will be involved in several laboratories and activities on the promotion of human rights’ topic.
The E35 Foundation is responsible for coordinating the project on behalf of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia and all the Amitie Code communication activities, which include the implementation of a web-app focused on development cooperation and the production of a web-series.
